The FK Irons Flux Max with PowerBolt II is a pen-style tattoo machine designed for wireless operation. The battery pack features an OLED digital display and touchpad, allowing users to switch between voltage/Hz display, adjust eGive levels, use a timer function, and activate transport mode, completing all necessary operations directly on the machine during a session. It supports USB-C charging, and a cable is included.
The body is made from 6061 T6 aluminum with a fixed 3.2mm stroke. The redesigned grip section features indentations, shaped for comfortable holding during long tattooing sessions. The PowerBolt II is a detachable battery pack and is compatible with separately sold PowerBolt and PowerBolt+ units. FK Irons disposable grips (compatible with original Flux and EXO) can also be used. It connects wirelessly (Bluetooth 5.0) natively with the Darklab Killswitch.

- eGive Function (4 levels): Can be set from Level 0 (disabled) to Level 3 (soft hit). The machine senses the tension of the cartridge in use and executes an algorithm. Adjustable to suit different cartridge types and work styles.
- Voltage Range 4-12V: Adjustable in 0.1V or 0.5V increments. The low voltage range of 4V allows for settings suitable for tasks requiring low voltage, such as stippling.
- OLED Display and Menu Operation: Voltage/Hz display switching, eGive, timer, screen orientation (left/right-handed), and transport mode can all be set directly on the machine.
- Bluetooth 5.0 / Darklab Killswitch Compatibility: Can connect wirelessly to the Darklab Killswitch foot pedal. Also compatible with mobile apps and existing FK Irons accessories.
- Replaceable Battery Pack: The PowerBolt II is detachable and compatible with separately sold PowerBolt and PowerBolt+ units. It boasts a maximum battery operating time of 10 hours.
