The Cheyenne SOL TERRA is a pen-style tattoo machine equipped with a BLDC (brushless DC) motor, common to the SOL series, and an optimized balanced drive mechanism. The use of a brushless motor suppresses vibration and noise during operation. With a 4.0mm stroke, it is designed to be suitable for both linework and color packing.
A distinctive feature of this machine is the mode switch located on the drive's jack cage. In HARDDRIVE mode (steady mode), the hit and frequency remain constant regardless of the skin's surface tension. In SENSIDRIVE mode (responsive mode), the hit and frequency reactively change according to the skin's surface tension. The frequency range is 25 to 150 Hz, with the lower frequency range around 25 Hz used for dot work and pepper shading. The body is manufactured in compliance with ISO 13485 (Medical Device Quality Management System) standards and is made in Germany.
