Previously, in this article, we summarized and introduced the essential tools and supplies for a tattoo studio! This time, we'll focus on the necessary furniture for a tattoo studio!

Massage Bed
While it's technically possible to tattoo a client while they are seated on a standard plastic chair, prolonged sessions or the location of the tattooing might force the client into an uncomfortable posture. It's important to support them so they can be as comfortable as possible.
If you're furnishing a whole studio, consider having several different types of tables and beds. A basic massage table is generally optimal for various tattooing procedures, and if the client needs to lie face down, a table with a face hole is preferable.
For back tattoos, an adjustable face cradle chair is ideal, and it's also a good idea to stock backrests and bolsters for greater flexibility.

As another option, why not consider an electric chair?
With adjustable arms, legs, and footrests, you can find a comfortable position regardless of where the tattoo is being applied. These chairs usually have casters and adjustable height, providing a comfortable environment for your clients during their sessions.
Chairs & Stools
Most tattoo artists spend the majority of their day sitting, don't they? Many use rolling chairs or stools to keep all the necessary tools within reach without having to stand up. While a comfortable stool is sufficient, we recommend chairs with backrests to prevent or alleviate back pain!

Tattoo Trays & Workstations
As mentioned above, it's ideal to keep all necessary tattooing supplies within reach. The easiest way to manage this is by using a workstation on casters or disposable trays. The benefit of using the same workstation every time is that you can optimize your layout and repeat the same setup each time, making it very quick to get started.
Easy to clean and with multiple drawers is ideal. Most workstations should be customizable, so customize them to your liking.

Armrests
Armrests might not be strictly necessary for those with electric chairs, but they can be very helpful for artists who tattoo while sitting on a regular chair or for those attending conventions. Sturdy, height-adjustable, and tiltable armrests are often recommended because they don't take up much space, are portable, and are generally affordable.

Lamps
Lighting is essential for tattooing, but it's also useful for photographing the finished tattoo. For those who attract customers through social media, the appearance of the finished work is crucial. While a large standing lamp might be best for the studio, there are also portable lamp types available, so consider what best suits your needs!
