What is MURASAKI SOAP?
MURASAKI SOAP is a cleansing soap used during tattooing, formulated with Lithospermum erythrorhizon (murasaki), which has anti-inflammatory properties. The content volume is 500ml, and it is recommended for use at a 10x dilution, effectively providing 5000ml (5 liters) of product.
Origin of the name: What is Lithospermum erythrorhizon (Murasaki)?
The root of the Murasaki plant, known as Lithospermum erythrorhizon or shikon, has long been used as a crude drug to reduce heat in affected areas, and has been applied externally for its anti-inflammatory, antipyretic, and detoxifying properties. Due to its ability to reduce inflammation, soothe rashes, improve blood circulation, and promote wound healing, shikon has been widely used as an ingredient in ointments and cosmetics for centuries.
